1. Who we are
Teleway is a Riyadh-based telecommunications distribution, sales and workforce-solutions company operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the parent of the Teleway Group of companies. In this policy, “Teleway”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Teleway acting as the controller of your personal data.
This policy applies to teleway.com.sa and to information we collect when you contact us, apply for a job, or deal with us as a customer, partner or supplier. Companies in the Teleway Group may publish their own privacy notices for their own products and services.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purpose in question:
- Contact enquiries — your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe to The TELEWAY digest.
- Job applications — the CV and details you send to job@teleway.com.sa, which may include your employment history, qualifications and contact details.
- Business relationships — contact and role details for people at customers, operators, partners and suppliers.
- Customer-service and sales activity — where we sell or install operator services (for example STC, Zain, Mobily or SALAM) on behalf of an operator, the details needed to process your order, which may include identity and address information. The operator's own privacy notice also applies to that data.
- Technical data — device, browser, IP address and pages visited, generated when you use the website, and limited server logs kept for security and reliability. When you send a contact or newsletter form, we also record your IP address and the approximate place it maps to (city and country), and include them in the notification email to our team to help us spot spam and misuse.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in messages or CVs unless it is essential.
3. How and why we use it
We process personal data for these purposes, relying on your consent, the need to perform or enter into a contract, our legitimate interests (where these do not override your rights), or a legal obligation:
- responding to your enquiries and providing quotations and services;
- sending our newsletter, only if you have subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time;
- assessing and managing job applications;
- managing customer, partner and supplier relationships, including contracts and invoicing;
- operating, securing and improving the website;
- complying with Saudi law, regulator requests and record-keeping requirements.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Transfers outside Saudi Arabia
Some of our service providers may process data outside the Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we do so only in line with the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations, and put appropriate safeguards in place.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or anonymise it. As a guide: enquiries are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards; newsletter details until you unsubscribe; unsuccessful job applications for up to 12 months; and contract and financial records for the period required by Saudi law.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limits on who can see personal data. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data in a way that could harm you, we will notify the competent authority and you as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is collected and used;
- access your personal data and obtain a copy;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it — this does not affect earlier processing.
To exercise a right, email info@teleway.com.sa. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time set by law. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
9. Third-party content and links
The website serves its own fonts, and the Contact page embeds a Google Map. Our contact and newsletter forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a submission comes from a person; it loads when you start using a form and receives your IP address, browser details and interaction signals, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms. To work out the approximate place of a form submission we send the IP address to the ip-api.com lookup service, which we use only for that purpose. When any of these load, the provider receives your IP address and browser details. Our footer and contact pages also link to social platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those sites.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
